„Work and dignity for women victims of violence” beneficiaries in Granada!
Between 4th and 6th of July five beneficiaries from „Work and dignity for women victims of violence” project were invited to Granada by our Spanish partner – Concorcio Red Andaluz. The event was focused on visiting Spanish social cooperatives in the region of Andalusia. All women who visited Spain are interested in setting up a cooperative in Poland (two of them already set up one in Łódź). During our stay in Granada we had opportunity to observe a wide range of cooperatives, including carpentry, ceramics factory, hotel, and others. We also visited various professional courses organized for the unemployed by the Municipality of Palma del Majorca, Faecta (NGO) and other institutions. Moreover, we were introduced with women who studied and worked in typically male professions, like carpenter, electrician or paver. Finally, we had chance to meet women who, after completing a professional course as unemployed, established their own firm. 2007-07-16 15:02:41
